If your lakeplace is looking tired after the winter cold and snow, look what Sashco stain can do?   Sashco.com

If you have ever tried to shovel up those pesty wet weeds & gunk that float onto your beach or shore, and greet you as a big smelly mess? They are hard to shovel up because the pile can be heavy from the water in the dead weeds. When trying to clean it up with a shovel you can end up with as much water in your wheelbarrow as dead weeds. Unionjackstable.com has you covered.  They carry a line of shovels that have holes in them and slits so the water gets left behind where it belongs. This sieve shovel sells for $89.95.  UnionjackStable.com

We found this fun idea for a soap dispenser on theblissfullycontentlife.blogspot.com.  Here are the basic steps to making one:

1. Find a canning jar and a lid.
2. Mark a spot on the top side of the lid where the soap pump will go through the lid.
3. If the underside of the lid has a ceramic casing, you will need to remove it.
4. Mark the underside of the lid.
5. Use a needle pliers to peel back the lid where the pump is going to be.
6. You can seal the lid with a clear polyurethane.
7. Once you insert the pump through the lid, glue it in place.

Check theblissfullycontentlife.blogspot.com for a further description on how to make it.  Blissfully fun!

Buying a used boat is a “buyer beware” endeavor. There are plenty of good used boats available, especially in the spring of the year. However, you are going to want to understand the condition and type of boat you are buying, and what is a fair price for the used boat. The good news is that there are a lot of resources available to help you be educated on your purchase and to make a good decision. Also, become familiar with the trade in values of the different types of boats.

econd, determine what you need and want. Do not underestimate the importance of making a decision on what type of boat and what price range works best for you before starting to shop!!!

Why "lakeplace" and not "cabin" living?

Because everyone’s place on the lake is a different type of structure.   A "lakeplace" can range from a small, simple cabin, that offers no more than a roof and a few amenities, to an elaborate fully-functioning second home.

At Lakeplaceliving.com the structure is not the focus; the living we do there is the focus.   Lakeplace is the destination you have that holds a special place in your heart because you relax when you are there --taking in the warmth of surrounding family and friends, as well as, the water, sun and trees.   Your lakeplace lets you pause the treadmill of life for a bit.   Lakeplaceliving.com tells you about products and services you need at your lakeplace.
